Please remind students that applications for the Maryland Sea Grant REU program are due February 13, 2007.

We would like to invite your students to apply for Maryland Sea Grant's Research Experience for Undergraduates Estuarine Science Program.

• 12 week program during summer 2007
  
• $3700 stipend plus housing, travel to and from site

We invite applications from undergraduates in diverse disciplines, including engineering, biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, ecology and marine and environmental science.

Since 1989, NSF has supported this program to bring students to undertake individual research projects with a scientist-mentor at either Chesapeake Biological Lab or Horn Point Lab of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science.
